First upload new song Matthews & Hoeve. More to follow, have to think of a story first – if there is one… Thing is, I started this tune with the morning coffee just to see if there was a melody and lyric idea to get me goin’. There was this tune, and later on I decided to put it out of style a bit. There is some country in the recording but also some latin. And also some pop I guess. And the lyric perhaps is more at place with R&B, can’t say really. I still can remember I wanted to do the recording in bossa brasil style but decided to go another way when hearing a song by Ben Harper – who I think is in category “americana” for some reason. Why all this? Well, there have been some discussion about the songs lyric and also it’s style. Let’s just call it (soft) pop and get over with it, I’d say.
