These Blues

A bluesy pop-ballad. All that is needed is a great vocal performance, and some bluesy guitar licks. And some backing vocals.

For The Company
Jules and me decided to do a topical song for a change. All our jobs seem to be more stressful than they used to be. If you’re looking for a floor-filler at your company’s next party, tell the band to play this song…

Kiss In The Rain
Posted by Johnny in Latin, Pop, Pop Contemporary on August 14th, 2007
The song came to me during a time when I was thinking of doing some updated recordings again. I have to say though, that the site is www.songwritingdemos.com. My business is songwriting, not recordings. I very much like doing these recordings (as first suggestion of what it can be), but the song – as I would like it to be – should be above styles, music interpretations, whatever.
Kiss In The Rain is – as song – a simple bossa nova kindda tune. A lot of modern tunes – if songs at all – will not be that cool tune you think it was when you hear it done with just a guitar and the singer. Though yes, some will still be great. I can have discussions about this untill forever… Anyway, at times I then just pick a song and redo it in another style. Just to give some prove. As was done with this song.
